Wild Words 2017, Sunday August 13th
As part of the Wild Words Children's Book Festival, Ardcarne Garden Festival is delighted to present this event.

Sunday August 13th, 2.30 pm, Ardcarne Garden Centre, Age 6-8, €5
Using overhead projectors and lightboxes to trace huge shadows and outlines of real leaves and plants from the gardens, together we will make our giant garden picture book. We will make our pop out book characters from card and collage using lots of lovely materials to create endless possibilities for playful storylines and for you to bring home at the end of the workshop.
Lucy Hill completed an M.F.A at Winchester School of Arts in Barcelona having previously studied painting at Crawford College of Art in Cork. She has won several awards, public art commissions and exhibited in solo and selected group shows nationally and internationally. She has been working with children through a wide variety of projects and organisations for fifteen years.
