Welcome to this week's newsletter

It's amazing how many plants actually choose the short days of autumn to start flowering. (just look at the gorgeous flowers of Aster 'Little Carlow' above). Check out a few more of our favourite autumn flowers below.

As every gardener knows, it's all about planning ahead, which is why a few bulbs planted right now will make your garden and pots glow with colour in the spring. If you want to discover just how versatile and valuable bulbs are then come along to a Free Bulb Planting Demo, this Saturday (see details below).

Another date for your diary is Saturday 7th October, when James Wickham will be giving a Free Illustrated talk on Trees for Colour, at our Boyle branch.

Hope to see you soon

PS We are currently advertising for a new lessee for the Ardcarne Garden Cafe Boyle (which is temporarily closed). If you think you know of someone that may be interested (or yourself), please see the advertisement further down.
