Full-time Café Supervisor

Summary of the Position

The café Supervisor plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, friendly and high-quality food experience in our busy Garden Centre Café @ Ardcarne Garden Centre, Boyle.

This position assists in the day-to-day operations of the café, delivering great customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, ensuring sufficient stock and provisions and supporting a positive and efficient team environment.

Personal Specification

Essential:

• 2 years previous experience of supervising a busy café
• 2years experience in supervising and motivating a team
• Previous experience of ordering and managing stocks and provisions
• A passion for excellence in customer service
• Knowledge of till operations and good numeracy skills
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures and operating standards for the industry
• Conscientious, enthusiastic and motivated
• Ability to use initiative as well as being a good team player
• A positive attitude and the ability to work calmly under pressure
• Flexibility, including weekends and bank holidays – our café operates 7 days a week.

Desirable:

• Barista Trained
• HACCP Level 3 qualification
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation pertaining to our industry.
