”Better Plants Rose Fertiliser is what people are calling magic liquid. When the first leaves appear on the plant it time to start spraying the leaves top and bottom. In doing this it is a fast a proven way yo treat specific plant deficiencies fast. How this happens is when you spray the rose plant with Better Plants Rose Fertiliser , The stoma in the leaf which a pore, found in leaves, stems, absorb the nutrients and give the plant a fast boost.

What you are treating the plant from the leaves and the roots, the rose bush will be far stronger and able to with stand pest and diseases better. We recommend putting Better Plants Granular Seaweed around the base of the Rose Bush that will slowly release into the soil and roots.

Most of our products are now available for delivery nationwide, up to 30kg, via courier service. Exceptions include bulk items such as tonne bags, mature trees and furniture, which we can only deliver within the local area by arrangement (see below for estimated delivery charges for these items).

Our standard delivery charge for items ordered online is €13.95 for any order up to 30kg, regardless of the number of items included. Should your order exceed 30kg, we may contact you to arrange for a surcharge to cover the delivery costs. Please also note that whilst we may take orders from many different countries, we can only arrange delivery within the Republic of Ireland.

If you wish to order seeds only, our standard postage fee is €3.80 regardless of the number of seed packets you order.

There is currently no postage fee for the the purchase of Gift Tokens.

For orders received by 2pm, we will endeavour to ship these within 3 to 5 working days. Please ensure that you remove all plant items from their packaging immediately upon arrival and water if necessary as we cannot be responsible for damage caused to plant health if they have been left packaged beyond their delivery date.

For all "Click 'n' Collect" orders made before 2pm, please allow at least 24 hours before collection. There may be occasion where we have to transport stock from one garden centre to another for example, which may cause some delay. In such circumstances you will be notified by email. Please check your emails before setting off to collect your order. 

We would also add that, despite our best intentions a plant may not be looking its best and in such cases we will suggest substitutes or organise a refund.

Better Plants produces 100% natural, organic seaweed based products using seaweed sourced from Irish suppliers. Better Plants products are aimed at feeding your soil as well as your plants. Here's what they have to sasy:

"A lot of plant food out there is exactly that, food for the plant. They do nothing for the soil. We set about looking for a product that was not only natural and feed the plant, but also feed the soil. Over-use of the same soil will result in poor crops resulting in the need to use chemical plant foods more often.

We have some really great suppliers around the west coast of Ireland who hand harvested seaweed called Ascophyllum Nodosum. This is a particular brown algae species living in “extreme” conditions. It had to adapt to 2 periods of emersion of 6 hours in any 24 hours of a full year which explains part of its specific natural composition. Better Plants is traceable right to the exact location and seaweed date of harvesting along the eastern Atlantic Irish shoreline. This cold water shoreline is particularly rich in minerals and remains unpolluted by heavy metals.

Many commercial extracts contain a low amount of processed seaweeds but high levels of additives. Better Plants is based purely on 100% fresh seaweed. You can therefore properly assess the real benefits of the seaweed after regular applications based on low concentrations. The purity and the integrity are obvious by the characteristic odour of the fresh seaweed and the green-olive colour identical to raw seaweed. In addition, low temperatures do not alternate the general composition of the seaweed polysaccharides."
