Mulcher & Accumulator Plants
Mulcher or accumulator plants are those that are usually deep rooted, bringing nutrients from the depths of your soil and then adding them back to the surface when they die back. Others may be large leaved plants that will provide a layer of mulch as they dye back, where you can take a 'cut and drop' approach to pruning and cutting back in the winter or spring.
